THE Machines Yvonand SA develops, designs, engineers and manufactures «in house» all extrusion lines. Line components are supplied to the highest standards, technologies and precision, resulting in unsurpassed line performance, productivity and end-product quality.

Layflat hoses for Drip Irrigation application are of high market demand due to their ability to substantially reduce handling and operation costs relative to rigid distribution pipes.

Most commonly « layflat » hose used are made of PVC-Polyester reinforced. Alternative to these, new products were emerging, being made of Polyolefin and also with integrated outlets, however, these are made of « over-lapped » structures, thereby causing undesirable side-effects such as pipe twisting, leakages and failures.

THE has developed a new product and production line that provides several advantages over existing market solutions:

• Polyolefin composition – much lighter than PVC, and is recyclable
• Seamless construction – no « snaking » effect, retaining the hose position in the field
• Integrated outlets – substantial reduction of labour costs
• Product made in a « Single-Step » Production line
